​Sarah’s paintings are brimming with energy, rich textures and vibrant layers of colour. Like notes on a score, dynamic, gestural marks and flashes of vivid colour punctuate her compositions. Sarah’s work dwells in the space where the energetic essence of the land meets the expressive, tactile qualities of paint. The two elements - Spirit and Surface - lose their separation. Just as we come alive by walking in nature, Sarah says 'The canvas becomes a place from which her spirit breaks free'.
