I just love working with this colour at the moment. It seems to sit right with the dried miscanthus and pampas grasses that I keep seeing all around me. I am starting to make a new body of work for my March Contemporary Art Fair at Sandown racecourse. I love the fresh excitement I get when embarking upon a new series of paintings. So with winter on the way, I'm going to hunker down and paint. Expect to see some paired back pastel colours. Think of Neapolitan ice cream and terracotta tones.
